Hi my loves! Coming in hot with a brand new Moments of Magic and workout recap for this Easter break. This one’s gonna be quite short. I’m currently battling a head cold, so I’m writing this while wrapped in a blanket in bed, and I’m not sure how much coherency I can muster right now heh. But regardless, there were quite a few magical moments that I’d love to share with you. So let’s get to it!
Arriving home and being greeted by my poodle Minnie and my mom
This was a particularly sweet homecoming because I’ve just been so exhausted the past week. So nice to relax for a bit. 9 times out of 10 I request a veggie and sausage omelet as my dinner when I come home because it’s THE most nostalgic meal for me. So that’s what Mom cooked up, and it hit the spot. Followed that up with watching The Crown and cuddling with my dog. 🙂
Making myself a pancake breakfast and enjoying it with The Crown
Lol yes I have a problem. I have like two episodes before I’m done with the second season, and then the next two are coming out in over a year! What am I going to do?? You guys seriously NEED to watch this show; I can’t even explain why I love it so much, but I do.
Also these pancakes are BOMB, and my fave way to eat them is with peanut butter and maple syrup. Side note: those slippers were a Christmas gift from my aunt and make me SO HAPPY.
Cooking and baking up a storm in the kitchen
I made these great paleo chicken tenders with honey mustard dipping sauce, this sesame roasted asparagus, and these sticky sesame brussels sprouts. Winner winner chicken dinner!
Oh and I baked these lovely cookies, except my dang oven always takes too long to bake, which means I sometimes leave the baked goods in too long, and then they end up a little overcooked. Gotta work on figuring out that golden spot with this oven. But either way, these cookies were delicious, and this kitchen sesh was MUCH NEEDED.
Sipping on a latte made by Syracuse Bestie while hanging out at her coffee shop
Georgetown Bestie and I visited SB over this break, and we got to hang out in the coffee shop where she works for a couple hours. SB made us amazing almond milk lattes (check out that latte art!), and I felt more relaxed than I have in a long time. I even pulled out my laptop and watched an episode of The Crown, so yeah it was a great time. 😉
Catching up with my two best friends all night
I see SB much less often that I’d like, and though we FaceTime occasionally, it’s still not the same. It was great to be with both my best friends in one place, just talking and talking and not having to worry about deadlines or needing to be anywhere. Also when I say all night, I mean until 1am, which is when we were all sufficiently exhausted and plonked into bed. I know, we’re so wild 😉
Shortly after arriving from this trip, I got my cold, which hasn’t been too fun, but you know, I’m choosing to look at the bright side. Like the fact that I got sick while at home, which means I get to be a blob and lie in bed all day and be taken care of by my lovely mom, instead of having to drag myself to an 8am class. Also LOL, the last time I was sick was also Easter break, so I don’t know what that’s about…
As for workouts, I did just four this week, as two of the days I was visiting Syracuse, and Sunday I was literally just moving to eat and go to the bathroom. But either way, the four days of workouts were quite awesome, so please do check out the links!
Workouts
Monday– this kickboxing cardio workout + this Pilates arm routine + this back routine
Tuesday– this warmup + this cardio and abs workout + this quick oblique finisher
Wednesday– this AMAZING hiit workout + this Pilates butt workout + this leg routine
Thursday– this cohesive kickboxing and arm strength workout
Friday, Saturday, Sunday– rest
And that’s where we’re at. Today I am heading back to school after a way-too-short break. However, I’ve got a few exciting things coming up in April, and as insane as this is, April is my last full month as a college sophomore. Which means I will soon be halfway through college. Wut.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter and hopefully got to cuddle some loved ones and/or some fur babies. Love you, and I’ll see you for WIAW!
Tell me some of your moments of magic!

There’s nothing better than mom making me breakfast when you don’t feel up to par.
Hope you’re fully recovered now.
